what is the GravityFit Exercise Model?

The GravityFit Exercise Model (GFEM) is a model of exercise which aims at improving Gravity Fitness in the community and prevent injury and other painful musculoskeltal conditions that occur with age and living each day with the forces of gravity. The GFEM was developed by Professor Carolyn Richardson to explain and guide the process of improving bone and joint health for the whole body and maximising overall muscle performance.

who should do Gravity Fitness?

Everyone should focus on improving their Gravity Fitness, particularly:

  • Professional athletes, to reduce injury and enhance muscle performance
  • Anyone who does significant amounts of non-weightbearing exercise like swimming or cycling
  • Office workers, or anyone who sits at work for long periods of time
  • Those who suffer from lower backpain or bad posture
  • People over 30 to reduce risk of osteoporosis and osteoarthritis

why is the GFEM revolutionary?

The GravityFit Exercise Model is a new scientifcally based exercise model that literally redefines human movement and sets new standards in:

  • Injury prevention
  • Muscle performance
  • Improving posture
  • Lower back pain management
  • Reducing risk of osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, stess incontinence and other musculoskeletal conditions
  • Improving overall health and wellbeing
